Akko

     We spent half the day on the coast of the Mediterranean in Akko. Oh my goodness! Talk about gorgeous!!! I have never seen an ocean so blue! The day actually started at an old Crusader Castle. There was a lot of exploring, playing, oh and a little learning. The fortress had been turned into an interactive museum. It also had lots of shops where everything was made traditionally. There was leather, glass, soaps and medicines, and lots of other little shops.

You would not believe how heavy that cannon ball was!

One of the kids told me this was my family seal...not sure how to feel about that. 

There was a whole shop dedicated to gourds! Everything in it was made out of gourds!! It brought back good memories.
