Mt. of Beatitudes was beautiful. The gardens were amazing and huge. A lot of churches in Jerusalem don't have large grounds simply because there are so many denominations trying to share the same piece of land. In the Galilee though, there is more room and they are able to have really nice landscaping. It is amazing how much it adds to the spirit of the place. We were able to have members of the class share thoughts about the different beatitudes. Brother Anderson really taught me the importance that "when ye are assembled together ye shall instruct and edify each other" (D&C 43:8).
We were given a lot of free time here to read scriptures, ponder, or walk around and see the gardens.
This picture only shows a small part of the gardens there.
Until my next adventure,
Lindy
